My production experience covers location sound, boom operating, live mixing, microphone setup, and technical coordination across short films, theatre, contemporary music, and experimental performance. I’m comfortable working with performers, directors, composers, and technical crews, adapting quickly when a production inevitably changes.
Boom Operating and Live Mixing
I’ve worked on short films as a boom operator and production sound mixer, handling wireless and wired microphones, field recording, and on-set monitoring. I also have experience cleaning and mixing production recordings in post using Pro Tools and iZotope RX, giving me an understanding of the entire workflow from capture to final mix.
Six Turntables
Experimental Music · Live Performance
A collaborative workshop and performance project led by Christopher Willes and Akash Bansal, Six Turntables reimagines experimental music archives through collective listening and live improvisation.
For the Music Gallery's 2023 iteration, I performed alongside workshop participants, manipulating archival recordings from the Music Gallery Editions catalogue using custom-cut vinyl and turntables to create an evolving live soundscape.
At soundSCAPE in Blonay, Switzerland, I worked across music recording, microphone setup, and video direction for contemporary classical performances. I designed and adapted microphone setups to suit different ensembles and performance spaces, while also operating a multi-camera setup to capture the performances for video.
The project meant balancing the technical side of recording with the realities of live performance — adapting mic placement, recording approaches, and camera coverage to the music and the space as things evolved.
