Train rides, domestic sounds, conversations, and the natural world trace a journey from the loneliness of the city toward the warmth and familiarity of home.
A phonographic composition exploring the strange space between the physical and the virtual. Field recordings of everyday life, conversations, boxing, and gaming are distorted, layered, and pushed toward a climax of virtual anger—before returning to the sounds of reality.
A personal field recording piece made during a year spent living in Greenwood, Nova Scotia, while waiting for the opportunity to move to a larger city. Recorded at a local gym, it reflects on being a gay man in a small community, the role of fitness in finding confidence, and the feeling of being somewhere temporary while imagining where you want to be next.
Inspired by Martin Vaughn-James’ influential graphic novel The Cage, this sonic piece explores confinement, isolation, and the uneasy relationship between physical and imagined spaces. Field recordings and manipulated sounds build a shifting environment where the boundaries between reality, memory, and inner worlds begin to dissolve.

A sound piece inspired by Piet Mondrian’s abstract paintings, exploring the tension between representation and abstraction. Fragments of art historian John Walsh’s lecture on "Mondrian's Intentions" uploaded to the Hammer Museum YouTube channel are transformed through processing and layered with painting sounds, environmental textures, and electronic tones, creating an immersive soundscape that mirrors Mondrian’s balance of structure, colour, and space. Originally presented as an audio-reactive A/V composition made using TouchDesigner.
